Packaging, prepare your shipments
Your packaging must be perfectly adapted to withstand the possible shocks inherent to transport.
Please note that the words "fragile" or " top " / " bottom " are mostly useless because the transport is mechanised.
Use a new cardboard box without any inscriptions in order to avoid any security problem concerning the contents of your shipment.
Use appropriate and strong cardboard packaging
Adapt the thickness / flute of your box to the weight of your goods.
Do not leave anything outside the package: handle, flap, string.
Secure the product in the packaging and protect it well
Your commodity should be padded at the bottom, sides and height with cushioning materials (air cushions, bubble wrap, crumpled newspapers). Protect all sharp edges of your goods.
Never place your goods unprotected in the box
Seal the package tightly
Your package should be sealed with wide H-shaped tape. Feel free to reinforce certain areas if necessary.
Affix the shipping label to the top of the package
Affix the shipping label to the top of the package and make sure the barcode is visible in its entirety. Be sure to remove all previous shipping labels.
Do not affix the label on a corner of the package to avoid cutting the barcode.
What are the rules for the packaging of bottles?
The conditions for shipping bottles are highly regulated by the carriers.
Use only specific packaging for the shipment of cylinders, approved by the carriers.
No bottle should be in direct contact with another one.
You can indicate on your package the notion of fragility and/or top/bottom. However, be aware that the mechanization of the processing of parcels by express carriers will not take these indications into account.
Carriers are very demanding when sending bottles. A damaged package also deteriorates the surrounding packages.
By using any other packaging you expose yourself to a very high risk of damage and a refusal of reimbursement of your shipment by the transport provider.
