How to deliver to European consumers with full compliance

Edited

If you sell excisable goods online or at a distance to a private individual in another EU country, excise duty is paid in the country of purchase (where you ship the goods).

According to European regulations, before shipping your goods, you must:

  • Inform the competent authority in the country of destination (VignoblExport will carry out these formalities for you)

  • Guarantee that excise duties will be paid (VignoblExport pays excise duties in the destination country)

Inform the competent authority of the country of destination

VignoblExport takes care of these formalities for you.

Our shipments are prepared with an invoice replacing the DSA and bearing the following compulsory information:

  • Our fiscal representative's identification number

  • The customs office of destination

Ensure payment of excise duties

VignoblExport will pay the excise duties in the country of destination.

In step 3 of your data entry, enter the appellation, color and alcohol degree of your commodity: this will automatically calculate the excise duties linked to your order on our Extranet.
